No experience needed. 'Kai Moana' guided trips take you through the complete cycle, from catching a fish (or shell fish), processing it and even onto cooking it.

On the actual day there are several factors that determine the best activity/fishing to aim for.
Firstly there's you (and the group) - what is are your previous experiences and what are you most interested in doing now.
Secondly there's the season, weather, sea and tide factors to consider. Ensuring your safety comes first.

We have a range of fishing equipment and lots of local knowledge available.
For discussion purposes, allow around $40 an hour for guided kai moana/fishing experiences, min 2 hours for 2 people. A whole day experience for five talk around $30 an hour This would include most fishing gear required. Free quotes available on request.
